If you could remember the first time you tried on medical scrubs, I bet you said “Wow, these feel great!” That’s because almost every person falls in love with them on the first try. Since this is the case, we’ve decided to write an article on “The Top 5 Reason Why to Wear Medical Scrubs”.
Because Your a Doctor
Obviously when they are in their office seeing patients, the normal attire for a doctor would be a nice collared shirt and tie. This is not always the case… Most of the time they are at the hospital performing surgery or other acts of life saving duties that they must attend to. Like most doctors though, they tend to stick with a more generic, green/blue colored scrub. We believe thats because they still must maintain the professional look rather than the fun look.
Because Your a Nurse
This would probably go for most of our viewers/customers. Nurses are the main reason on why scrubs are what they are today. Some nursing scrubs allow a patient to feel more comfortable when in the doctors office while others make children laugh. Each scrub that a nurse wears can become a conversation starter so make sure you choose wisely. Wear a V-neck scrub top from time to time then mix it up with a cartoon scrub top as well. Not only are scrubs comfortable to wear, they can also help take your mind off of where you really are at times.
You Work in a Doctors/Dentist Office
Here you really have no choice on what you can wear, but you do have a choice on what design to wear. If you are the lucky person that works in a Pediatric office, you would maybe wear a more colorful, cartoon scrub top rather than the conventional blue/green doctor type scrub. Either way you look at it, you are luckier than most. Just like nurses, the admin staff and all other employees must wear scrubs as well so sometimes you may see a certain pattern throughout the office. Maybe even sometimes, they all may have matching scrubs.
You Love Being Comfortable
Besides always looking comfortable, you actually are comfortable. Nursing scrubs are probably one of the most widely worn uniforms by people who are not even required to wear them. People who like those comfy lounge clothes love medical scrubs because of the roominess they provide. Go ahead and try a pair of cargo medical pants, we bet they will be some of the most comfortable pants you have ever tried. Join that up with a great looking scrub top and you might have just started a wardrobe with medical scrubs.
You Love a Bargain
Everyone loves a bargain right? Not only have we already mentioned how comfortable medical scrubs are, but how affordable they are makes them even more comfortable. You can always find a great price or sale on nursing scrubs, and just because they are cheaper than another, does not mean that they are less comfortable or uglier by any means. Medical scrubs, like clothes, have seasons. Based on these seasons is when new designs are released and old designs are stopped. When an old design is stopped, the manufacture tries to sell all of them off by discounting the price. Then, the re-sellers discount the prices as well to try and un-load them. So, just because you see a cheap scrub, don’t always think that you are getting a sub-par product. |
